WellEz Releases Drilling, Completion, and Workover App for Android

Houston, Texas (PRWEB) July 05, 2012

Oil and gas data reporting service, WellEz, released the Android version of its already popular iPhone and iPad application this week, after months of development.

The application features the same impressive graphing reports that are automatically generated and updated instantly from the field. Users can quickly view Days vs. Depth, Depth vs. Cost, Mud Weight vs. Depth, and Days vs. Costs graphs directly from their Android phone or tablet.

Similar to the iPhone app, during the completion and workover phase of the well lifecycle, the graphing portion is hidden and more operations detail is shown. Users can view a summary of daily activity on the well site, cost information, as well as frac summary and flowback info.

We have been working with a great sense of urgency to get this version of the app ready to use, said Fernando Salazar, development director at WellEz Information Management. The iPhone app was incredibly well received and we wanted to give our Android-friendly clients the same opportunity to access their well-data from their mobile device.

WellEz Mobile allows subscribers to view well activity from anywhere, without a computer or internet connection. WellEz users can download the app from the Android marketplace free of charge. Valid WellEz credentials are required to login.
