Can accounting firms get a list of companies that has been selected for sales tax audit?

Hello, those tax experts. I’m in Texas.
I was wondering how the accounting firms get information about companies that has been selected for sales tax audit. Can State of Texas post specific company has been scheduled for sales tax audit? One of my grocery stores has been scheduled for sales tax audit, and I’ve got 2-3 letters from accounting firms saying that you have been selected sales tax audit. How the hell they know I go through sales tax audit? I mean is this legal to open some company’s sales tax information to an accounting firm?
