Garthee joins software development firm Hensley-Elam in “Lexington, KY”

Hensley-Elam today announced the appointment of Scott Garthee to the role of Director of Software and Cloud Development Services. Garthee will manage Hensley-Elams software development group and guide the team toward providing excellent cloud services offerings to new and future clients. Garthee will officially assume his new role July 16th and report to Russ Hensley, Hensley-Elams Chief Executive Officer.

A respected veteran IT professional, Garthee brings more than 18 years of experience including 16 years of running national software development projects and implementation for Mettler-Toledo, where he oversaw software services related to $ 8 million in revenues annually for software implementations in government municipalities. He is a native of Greenup, KY and has been a resident of Lexington for more than 20 years. He has degrees from the University of Kentucky in Mathematics and Computer Science.

Hensley-Elam began as a software engineering firm and has successfully navigated the transition to the web and now into Cloud services. Mr. Garthee will have a critical role in fulfilling the next successes of our software development group as we continue to grow and invest in our services group in that area. Mr. Garthees first-hand experience as a software engineer and designer combined with his management expertise is a unique blend that will be valuable at Hensley-Elam.
